Heirloom Taco is family owned and operated by Stan Gowen, Sandra Gowen, Aurelia Ugarte and Shane Gowen, established in 2019. We have a passion for creating all our dishes from scratch & take great pride in that.

Our tortillas are the star of the show, in our minds, they are a true labor of love. Our corn tortillas begin with whole heirloom maiz and go through a 12 hour process to create our tortillas (gluten-free). Our flour tortillas are made from fresh dough and hand-rolled to order.

We humbly welcome and thank you for coming into our establishment & supporting our dream.

Heirloom taco is located in the “old fire station” in the heart of Jacksonville. We believe that our location is perfect for our concept because we want to be a neighborhood place and appeal to the locals as well as the students of JAX State. 

At the end of the day, heirloom taco is a place to bring your friends, family and colleagues to enjoy a great meal with great company. After all, the name heirloom taco came from the idea of carrying on traditions with family and  friends. We are so excited to cater to our family in Jacksonville.
